4 months later

Hi. I think this is the last post ever and I'm switching to blogger, or facebook, or nothing. but this is an important archive of 2005-2007...that's 2 years of my life...roughly 7%.

My Summer was long, hard, and boring. I did go to 3 weddings, 2 other states, and work 3 official jobs, and 2 unofficial, but, beyond that, it was the same thing like everyday, and then trying to be involved in church is hard when you have no time except some saturdays and most sundays.

But all that is gone, and I am now working in "fulltime ministry" leading the college ministry @ my home church, living in a sweet pad trying to foster community with some great guys, going to seminary part time, and well, yeah, learning a lot everyday.

I still want to travel the world, but it's on hold for atleast a year...and I need to set aside sometime to get a few more degrees.

In any case, God is always the constant...I mean, no surprise, He IS faithful, it's not that he chooses to be faithful, but it is his essential nature, and the whole of Him is faithfulness...so, I guess it's  my expectations that are belittling Him...and that's why I get discouraged...but right now I'm feeling great, and focusing on simplifying my life a lot. For trying to be a global citizen, I certainly have obtained a lot of crap. My room is filled with unnecessities.

When I'm ready to move again, I need to be mobile. And just not get caught up in the whole trap of affluence.

And just for the record, Guinness is the best beer ever. I need to go to Ireland, eventually.

Peace out homies, keep it real

Take it easy. After all, that's the only way I take it.

Rock on (Rock OUT!)

Odelay, peoples

Hey!

this blog is pretty much dead, not sure who still reads it. I only make time to write in my real journal 1nce a week, so I haven't been able to do much. My life so far is back on track. I'm still working on my video memories of africa, but it's gonna be off the hook when I finally get there. DVD's and everything.

I just finished a quarter at seminary (starting a 120 credit Masters of Divinity track), and between that and working early AM shift at UPS, I pretty well discovered that I am an incredibly undisciplined individual. Seriously. I think that's the #1 priority right now is kicking myself in the butt with spiritual and physical discipline. Yikes!

I did really enjoy seminary this quarter and plan on going for atleast another year before taking more time off and *hopefully* traveling a bit...we'll see. So this summer I'll be working atleast one job, and two as long as I can start showing up on time for UPS. Seriously sleep for me is like a cage. No matter how many alarms I set (Currently 4 loud ones) I never know *for sure* when I'm going to wake up. Yikes!

Umm...I started using facebook a little more now that they have "applications", so if you have facebook, friend me, and if you don't, get it.

I'm probably not going to use this much anymore, because I don't know what anyone really reads it. That's what happens when you take 4 months off, though, I guess. Hope everyone's having a great time out there!

Things...

...are crazy.

Well, things have been kind of strange since I've been back which has almost been 3 weeks. I still haven't found a job, but mostly for lack of trying. I did apply to seminary at Northwest Baptist (www.nbs.edu) for the spring quarter, so that's exciting, I should hear back from them soon, and register, I found a place to stay in Tacoma (about 45 minutes from my house) for the quarter, so I won't have to commute, and I have almost secured a temporary vehicle...now I just need a job...sort of going in reverse order here.

So I was all set to start jobhunting, and then I watched the superbowl, and then I got sick...so, I'm a slowstarter.

Most of all, I miss africa. SO MUCH. I can't even describe it...I think I would be really depressed right now if I wasn't born again...everything I could probably want was over there...I almost feel like it's everywhere, but here.

I am awaiting more information, but there's a possibility I'll be going to India in September or so...yes!

Okay, not sure who's reading this, but enjoy!
